What is EMDR Therapy?
Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a mental health treatment technique. EMDR's goal is to help you heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences. There are 2 primary techniques for EMDR The first involves moving your eyes a specific way while you process through traumatic memories. The second involves strengthening/installing positive resources that we already possess within ourselves.
